In that second one it looks like the water is vaporizing!

Oh my goodness. I saw this video on a tour of WDI. This was from very early on when the new IllumiNations Reflections of Earth debuted. They decided to put a camera under a welding helmet on the inferno barge. You'll notice at the end of the video the welding hood is destroyed.

I'm sure it gets hot enough out there that the lake starts to create steam. It's just a differential of temperature. Just like mist off a warm lake in the cold of the morning.
