How You Chose Your Pic/Avatar?

I picked the first Jedi Mickey picture that popped up on google. I remember being one of the first people to see the original at our local theater many moons ago. I was so little I needed a booster seat but I loved it. My second choice for an avatar is Iron Maiden's "Trooper Eddie". I love my Maiden! \m/ >.< \m/ (forever a headbanger:cool:)

Great song off the Black album. We saw them eight times on that tour. (have car, will travel) Of course that was before having my daughter but she's been going to concerts since she was five and Metallica is on her list of must sees. :)

I'd love to see them do it live...but it comes down to me and the kid...which I only see annually...

She is my heart...

I just realized that the picture I posted is in Spanish, but it's a French film. :p And I never saw Tintin, thought it looked cheesy.

(Oops, should probably get back on topic here. :p)

Going off topic is quite acceptable in Chit Chat. ;) And I've read both Asterix the Gaul and TinTin books with my children. They're put away in storage right now. One of the teachers at their elementary school was a big TinTin fan.

The Mom.... because I'm so much older than most posters, and a bunch of them would call me "Mom" when we had a chat room.

The photo was taken a decade ago. I had lost weight and "firmed" up, so thought I would have a formal portrait done so I could look 50 forever.

I guess I'm just so used to staying on topic in the Bob Saget thread...

You really looked good in the picture. More like 40-45 instead of 50. I'm sure you still look lovely today:)

10 years ago, two posters, @Steamboat_Kevin and @ACE were making custom avatars for people here. I posted my specs, and I ended up getting several great avatars. I chose one of ACE's designs that reflected the best mix of my favorite cartoon characters. I'd change it, but 10 years later I still think it's pretty cool.

I thought a Disney pic would be appropriate. I have several in my iPad and kept trying different ways with different pics.

This is the pic I used when my various efforts finally proved fruitful.

Of course it's still pretty cool...Beavis and Butthead. ("Fire! Fire! Fire! Heh hummnh heh!) Those boys and Headbanger's Ball were my MTV shows growing up.
