I said this almost word for word to my DH today while watching a vlogger at Epic. They do cater to a different crowd- Disney mainly to families with younger children, USO more to teens and adults. They did an awesome job on Epic and when I saw the amazing Darkmoor area I couldn't help but wonder what WDW's version of Villian's land will be like. (I try not to think about the off-road Cars mess in Frontierland.)
