How To Make The Time Go Quicker Between Now & WDW

We have our WDW trip booked for the first week of March 2016, which is 5 months from now. I would leave tomorrow, if it was possible. What are the best ways to make the time move quicker until it is Disney time? I do have some busy times ahead on my job, and there is Christmas to look forward to, but-5 months? Ugh. The last time we went in March 2014, we weren't involved as much in the planning and booking, as we went with family who took care of that, and I wasn't as much of a WDW junkie as I am now, so waiting wasn't too difficult. Different story this time lol. I don't know how many more WDW ride videos I can watch! o_O

I will also be in Disney in early March for the Flower and Garden Festival....so looking forward to it. I am already thinking about what to bring. Now that the weather is getting cooler in New England, instead of storing my summer cloths away, I am putting them aside to pack. I am also "breaking in" a new pair of sneakers. Also chipping away at the cost of the vacation using gift cards. Every time I call Disney to make a payment, I feel that I am that much closer to my trip. Hang on....March will be here soon enough. :cat:

Good luck! I haven't been since 2013 and I'm not going until next August! It could be worse LOL. If you haven't made your ADRs make them yesterday!!!! Start planning what PF+ you want to make, watch lots of Disney movies and pull up all the old planning videos on youtube. Hang out here it does help!

In the Parks
Yes
I usually listen to podcasts. One of my favorites is Window to the Magic. He uses binaural audio to make it sound like you are at the parks. He is based in Disneyland but it's still a lot of fun to listen to. There are over 400 episodes that can keep you busy for awhile. Also, there are a bunch of older episodes from WDW.

Watch Disney movies!! Every week before my trip I make it a goal to watch atleast one Disney movie...only 11 more movies to go for me! I hope the time passes quickly and you have a wonderful trip in the world.

Our next trip is in 117 days and I don't want the time to speed up! This time of the year there are loads of things to do. Our yard is full of trees so we spend considerable time raking and bagging leaves, then theres Halloween and Thanksgiving, holiday shopping, the family get-to-gethers, a birthday, and then packing for WDW begins...It goes on and on. And to me it seems like once we are in the car on our way to WDW, the time really speeds up and of course, the days in the parks go by in a flash and your back home again... Meanwhile we enjoy looking at past years family videos, pre-planning our fall 2016 trip, and listening to Disney music

Keep a countdown until the end of your upcoming trip... your trip will seem a lot closer! 25 days until my trip feels like a long time; if I think of it as only 40 days until the end of my trip, it seems too soon. :(

I don't know if this will help time pass necessarily, but it'll be fun none the less!

A long time ago, someone gave me a tip on this site to play a family game where every day, each person draws a picture of anything having to do with Disney World and the trip and the family has to guess (and probably laugh a lot over) what it is. DH and I did this starting about a month before our trip and it was so funny as we tried to be really creative and competitive and we both can't draw for anything.
