I've rented DVC points to stay at the Poly in September. The two things I want to make sure of are 1. The Poly knows it's my honeymoon (For buttons and hopefully to help with our room request) and Victoria & Albert's. What's the best way for me to accomplish this? Am I right to think I have to have the DVC member note it (Since I can't call) and for V&A just call myself to let them know?

If I were you, I'd have the member note it. Then wear those dang buttons loud and proud and spread the news when asked if you're there celebrating anything and see where the magic takes you!
Good luck and hope you have a truly wonderful Disneymoon! Coming from someone who took a 2 week Disneymoon right around when you're going, I can assure you it is amazing to be there during that special time in your life.
