How to fight post-Disney trip depression?

My wife and I will be returning to our Happy Place for our 3rd Disney trip in December 2014. I probably don't have to say this, but... we are absolutely THRILLED. :D

That being said, after our 2nd trip in September 2013, we both fell into a deep post-Disney depression :(:depressed::cry::arghh::bawling: and were super bummed to be back home and not in Walt Disney World. The funny thing is, we didn't feel that way after our first trip (sure we missed it, but we weren't depressed). Do any of the rest of you feel this way after you return home from Disney? If so, how do you overcome it? I was so bummed, even the idea of recounting the trip in a TR here on the forums didn't seem appealing. By the way, I will be happy to do a super late TR if there is any interest. :geek:

But I digress... I look forward to your tips/suggestions and will hopefully find something that works!
-I visit this board often.
-Listen to the EPCOT entry music on YOUTUBE. (when I'm at work and don't want everyone to hear "It's a small world after all" and think I'm nuts)
-Plan my next trip (whenever it may be)
- associate different smells with the Disney smells (a little musty smell always reminds me of Splash Mt. and POTC)
just to name a few things.

As much as I love being at WDW, I find things to keep busy here at home. Being with friends, dining out, going to movies, etc. We always have a trip in the works (September 2014 & January 2015) and that keeps us planning, talking and looking forward to them.

What helps us (most have already been mentioned): Watch our own videos or Youtube videos of the rides and attractions, looking back at pictures taken, listening to the theme park soundtracks, reading the latest edition of Disney travel books, getting every Disney app out there to stay "connected," start thinking about when you'll be able to return and chatting on these boards with other post-Disney depression sufferers ;)

I'm missing it like CRAZY right now. I'll have to "ride" something on youtube later, watch a special, listen to some music, etc. And yeah, as much as I should be saving for other things and taking other trips, I guess I'll have to start slowly planning another Disney trip...because I don't know what else to do with myself!

I love y'all! These are all awesome ideas (including getting lost in the magic a.k.a. thread-jacking).

Speaking of thread-jacking, just how good are these bounceback deals?
Hey I can thread-jack if I want to, it's my thread!

I fought the depression by looking at our bill as we checked out ; ) ...which actually caused a different kind of depression.

As much as I love WDW, I really have no desire to go back anytime soon. I'll stick with our local Disneyland visits to get me through for a few more years.

YES!!!! We haven't been since 2012 and honestly not sure when we'll go back. We were going to go this year and just started pricing things out and we just kind of came to the realization that we're not getting the biggest bang for our buck. We've put Disney on the back burner and may revisit it in a few years, but I'd be lying if I didn't say it didn't bum me out :/

So you have to book another trip, while you're still there? Does anyone have any examples of good bounce back deals that you've had or heard about?
