How should i present the trip to my gf?

Hey everyone, this year one of my girlfriends Christmas presents is a trip to WDW with me. But I'm not really sure how to give it to her. I generally try to do something fun and cute. Example. Last year when i got her a ring for Christmas i ripped the guts out of a music box attached a little clip on it and placed the ring on the clip so that it would spin. Then i put it in a picture perfect looking present box, then surrounded it with Fake snow, lights and glitter.

So What should i do?

when my gf graduated college i told her i was getting her a vacation for it but said only for 3 days, werent flying and not leaving the state and had her convinced of that.. to reveal the lie to her i made a DVD movie kinda taking her through clues then finally going into a quick slideshow of our past disney trips and ending with pack your bags you're going to disney world..it came out pretty good..

For my 7th birthday, My mom wrapped up a suitcase and when I opened it there were little presents inside wrapped up with pictures of my family, mickey, an airplane, an outfit. And believe it or not, i was soooo upset because I would have to wait 2 months to get my gift lol. :brick:
Oh what I would give for a birthday gift like that now lol

You could wrap up a small suitcase and inside put Mickey ears, park maps, a birnbaums book, a gift card to get new "disney clothes" lol.

The big question is: How will you keep it a secret from the other girlfriends?

Oh...nevermind...I get it!

I like your presentation methods!
I always try to shoot for the sky when it comes to things like a big surprise.
I surprised my gf with a birthday trip to WDW, which actually worked out SWEET because her birthday's in Oct. and it just so happened that we were able to schedule it in conjunction with Epcot's 25th, the Food & Wine Fest., and MNSSHP! I proposed it to her as a trip to northern Minnesota (Bemidji, a place where I go regularly for work) where I told her she would get to see the town that I travel to and that we would be able to catch their "Carp Catch and Cookoff" Festival (which is purely fictitious). Needless to say, I told her what to pack and what time to take off.
She had some suspicion that I would actually take her to such an event, but regardless, she had no idea of the scope of our trip until I handed her the packet of our Epcot's 25th/Food & Wine Festival/MNSSHP info as we were just steps away from the boarding pass kiosk at the airport.
Overall it was a great "scheme" and she had a good time with it!

Good luck with your idea!

I really like this idea.

Pack some Disney specific gifties, maybe a planning DVD and some of the books.. some things she'll need for the trip maybe? OH!! And you have to wrap the suitcase in Disney paper!!! :sohappy:

Let us know what you end up doing and her reaction ok? :sohappy: I love surprises like this! When we went back in May, during our first day we decided some friends of ours were coming with us next trip. We called J and told him. We also made him promise to keep it a secret from his wife. So we get back right? With 2 lanyards and a pin on each.. we put them around their necks and told R we're going. Believe it or not, she actually screwed up her face and started crying!! LOL R is miss no-emotions-what-so-ever! It was the BEST surprising her like that. Now we're down to the teens in our countdown and we're all shaking like chihuahuas waiting to go!!! :sohappy:
