How Often

We live in California (SF Bay Area), 2,904 miles from WDW. We (my wife and I, with our 3 children) have been going every December since 1997, usually the first full week and for 8-9 days. We own a non-Disney timeshare and are DVC members, so accommodations are easy. After the first time my wife and I discussed the need not to spoil the kids, but we went the next year, and the rest is history. WDW is a magical place; in December it is even better, what with relatively small crowds, decent weather (for the most part), and Christmas (as opposed to just "the holidays") celebrated. My wife and 2 older kids went to Disneyland-Paris last spring (as part of a school French Club trip) and we are going on a cruise next spring. We appreciate the quality of what Disney provides, and it has never disappointed us.

We go at least once a year. Would love to go more often, but we've kind of been pregnant a few times over the past 3 1/2 years, so that has slowed us down a bit.

We live about 14 hours away. For the last 10 years we have gone every year in September. It's just my husband and I and we don't have kids. We could take 2 short vacations each year, but we would rather go once a year for 10 days.

We live in the UK, so only visit normally once a year.
We would give anything to live in Orlando, Fl. I work in hotel's in the UK and would love to work in a disney hotel - this is my dream job, but to this day I shall keep dreaming and keep visiting once a year!!!:sohappy:

We live in PA, about an 18 hour drive to WDW. We have been going about 2 times a year average. Now with 2 children (7 & 2 years old), we have really been trying to stick with it. The kids are having more and more fun each year, and we are as well!:animwink:

Unfortunately, I live in Vermont (a long way from Disney). As such, getting to visit the World is not always easy. My wife and I went last year in February. I mentioned going back again this year. She looked at me like I was insane. Okay, she may have a point but I was wondering how often people who do not live within driving distance visit Disney World. So my question is where do you live and how often do you go.

We were victims on Hurricane Katrina last August. I'll spare you all of the details but our house flooded and we lived in a trailer for 7.5 months.

At Mardi Gras, (Feb.) I took my daughters to Disney World to get away and have some fun. A few weeks ago my sister announced they were going for Thanksgiving and asked us to go too. I knew it was crazy...twice in one year. My husband also thinks I am insane!! But...we are going!!! I love it there an d would go 4 times a year if I could!

If we hop on the 417, we're about 30 - 45 minutes from Disney. We're AP's, so we're ususally there about twice a month to the parks, but we try and get on property (DTD or resorts) every weekend.

Yes, we're addicted.

We live in New Jersey and go to WDW once a year because ,let's face it, it ain't cheap! We also pull the kiddies out of school when we go (which has never been a problem, we have the system down to a science plus our youngest just started school last year and really, he can fingerpaint anywhere ! Our oldest is a straight A student with a photographic memory, creepy but very helpful):animwink:
