How often would you go?

We live in Jax and go about every 4-6 weeks. Never gets old. Although we have our "must-do's" every time we go, we also find new experiences and details that we have never enjoyed before. We upgraded our AP's to premium, so we get to enjoy the water parks, Oak Trail, and DisneyQuest.

I threaten my family with moving to Orlando so I can go to the parks whenever I want. I have always said I would try to go every weekend and just pick a different park each time. I wouldn't do full days, most probably evenings and just try to ride certain things and enjoy Starbucks, Dole whips, Mickey Ear ice cream and German beer. I think this time of year and late fall would be great when the crowds are lower.

When I was in high school we used to hang out at the mall that was 15 minutes away on the weekends. If I lived that close to WDW, I would have loved to have hung out there every weekend instead.

My dream come true !!! :joyfull: I'd go as often as I possibly could. The CM's would know me by sight and call me by name. I'd try every item on every menu in every restaurant and snack cart. I'd be able to walk the paths and walkways with my eyes closed. Maybe, just maybe I'd run for mayor....
Of course I would avoid the shoulder to shoulder high volume times because I wouldnt ever go when my Disney time would be unpleasant. Noooo it would never get old and never never be too much.

I'd probably be there every other weekend.

I considered going to UCF fot college. Had I done that, I'd probably have taken my homework and gone to study in the parks. And then gone on rides whenever I took a break

We lived about 90 minutes from WDW a couple years ago and went about every other month for a weekend trip. It didn't loose the 'magic' per say, we just started seeing the parks different. But that was also before FP+, not sure what that would do to us now.

We go for about 3 weeks at a time, and do it twice within a year (eg, go in August the first year, go in July the next year). It just feels like "home" to us. We have learned to slow down and enjoy every corner of the Majic!

My whole family (parents, siblings. significant others and children) 17 of us, moved from Miami to Disney a year ago in March. I say that we "moved to Disney" because all of us live about 8 minutes from Disney Port Orleans Riverside. We are very close to the parks and we love it!

We visit anywhere from once to three times a week when we can. The children love it and all the walking is great for the adults. We haven't gotten tired or bored of it yet and we enjoy no longer feeling like we have to do everything in one day. It's also nice to be able to enjoy the parks and see the little things that you usually miss when your racing around trying to do all the headliners. Last night, we went to Epcot, around 5pm, just because the kids wanted to go on Test Track and play in the Mission Space playground.

It's really a great way for us to get together, have fun and make wonderful memories.

I used to go less often, but now that I'm a serious coffee drinker, I've probably doubled my trips during the first part of the day. Back to normal after the middle of the day until bed time, since I'm no longer drinking a diuretic.

For those of you that go regularly, how is it at night versus morning? We have been doing a lot of half days, but getting there around 9 and leaving around 2. It has been great since we haven't experienced long lines or big crowds. I've noticed around 1-2 the crowds picking up, so we have just headed out.

We are adding in my husband to the fun. The kids are begging for daddy to come, but we have been nervous since he really can't handle long days of standing/walking. I don't want to do too much (even 4-5 hours will probably be too much) and turn him off from attempting it again, but we all want him to experience the magic, too! Our first trip with daddy will be next week and the kids have no idea :)

We have the weekday passes, so we are blocked out during those high volume times :) For our first year of being pass holders, I figured we would try the weekday passes out and see if we felt like we were missing out. So far, I feel like we have more than gotten our money's worth and we are only a month in! The only thing that stinks is that ALL of our birthdays/even birthday week fall on block out days!

My husband mentioned last weekend that the lines dropped considerably around dinner. We were waiting for Splash Mountain (I think the wait posted was 45 minutes - we definitely did not wait 45 minutes). He said it dropped to 10 while we were in line. We have discovered that dinner time and later is just like arriving early in the morning. When we rode the monorail back to Epcot, at 7:00 pm, both of us said "wow - it looks like no one is there." We plan on trying an evening trip soon. Go up and get there around 4, have dinner, hang out til the parks close.

You can still celebrate...When my DS was in school they would let the kids celebrate their B-days with something special in the classroom. His B-day, fell during one of the summer months, but he still got to celebrate his day. They called it a half-B-day day.

An annual pass and a one hour trip? Some weeks two days, others one.

You can never get enough bacon, ice cream, or prepaid entertainment.

Well, we have Six Flags passes (35 minutes away) and go about 20 times a year. Still is fun. So at least that many times if WDW was close enough.

Heh, now that I am thinking about it... if you go by days specifically we logged 8 @ WDW and 20 at Six Flags... So if WDW was minutes away instead of days, we probably go 40 times a year.

I live 2 hours away. We will make day trips here and there. We mainly go down one weekend a month and stay off property. If we are going to be down for more then 2 nights I try and get us in a value resort, so we can take advantage of EMHs.

It's a 4 hour drive for us and we go every 2-3 months since we have annual passes. If we lived close, say a 30-45 minute drive, we'd be going on at least a monthly basis. Especially to Downtown Disney. Just think, I can eat the bread pudding at Raglan Road whenever I want. :)
