Oh, please…see, if you ate Taylor ham, egg & cheese, & White Castle once in a while, you’d never have a problem…I got heartburn just looking at those photos.

Son, don't talk to me about pork roll. I'm the pork roll master.Oh, please…see, if you ate Taylor ham, egg & cheese
And you still have problems? Sheesh lolSon, don't talk to me about pork roll. I'm the pork roll master.
Best topped with Sea Isle City's own "Hank Sauce."
The Sushi at cal grill is a joke..... It's no better than premade Whole foods.....There are a few items that we chase around different establishments: scallops, crab cakes, steak. We don't raise scallops or crab, but we do raise beef. I grew up on the Georgia coast, so I'll only eat blue crab cakes.
My wife loves well prepared sea scallops (not bay orpunched flounder bits) and we both love a good steak.
California Grill after Thursday night is now a hard NO for us. The Sushi and Sashmi isn't good (tiny) and the steak is criminally prepared. The beef was ordered rare, but they charred it all the way around leavimg half of it.as a burnt offering. Thankfully the Brown Derby on Friday was able to serve a decent steak
This is just a light-hearted curiosity question. Yesterday, I realized that with the recent departure of the Lobster Thermidor Burger from the menus at the Grand Floridian Cafe, I was no longer interested in eating there at all. It occurs to me that in many cases, my family's ADR choices are made based on their love of (or curiosity about) a particular dish, such that they'd rather go somewhere else if it's no longer offered.
For example, Skipper Canteen lost all appeal for us when the whole fried fish and seafood stew were removed from the menu as part of an overall dumbing-down/blandifying regime. Our tradition of having dinner at 'Ohana on the last night of every Disney vacation - something we'd done for years - was abandoned forever with the loss of meat skewers (and for a time, their signature noodles) during the COVID era. On the other hand, we return to Yak & Yeti time and time again, because my son is in love with the Bhaktapur duck and my husband and I have developed an addiction to their Ahi Tuna Nachos: we'd never feel the same if those items disappeared. The pull of an Irish egg will bring us all the way to Raglan Road, even if we had no plans to go to Disney Springs otherwise.
Are we just oddly fixated on particular foods, or is this something others do, too? What's the "dealbreaker" menu item that brings you back to a particular restaurant, that might cause you to go elsewhere if it went away?
That pretty much sums up my mom’s utter lack of desire to eat at pretty much anything AKL has to offer And we of course moved our resort to stay here this fall. Now I, personally, love everything AKL has to offer food-wise; there is so much for a vegetarian to eat. But she is not big on African/Indian spices or flavors., sadly. So breakfast at Boma is probably a no-go for us. But I for sure am headed to Sanaa for that French toast at least once! For me it is a combo. Certain dishes do come into play when we book ADRs. A dish alone is not going to make or break a place for us, but the overall menu does. My family has some wildly different tastes and dietary requirements. Some places are off the list only because there may be a person who basically cannot find something desirable to eat there.
Having been to Bomo for breakfast, it is as American and without spice as you could find. That pretty much sums up my mom’s utter lack of desire to eat at pretty much anything AKL has to offer And we of course moved our resort to stay here this fall. All the AKL restaurants, including Boma, have some American options and kid-friendly (in your case, mom-friendly) classics on their buffet/menu/kids menu. At Boma breakfast, you'll find pancakes, waffles, omelets, home fries, oatmeal, muffins and pastries, fruit and yogurt, etc. There's no reason it should be a no-go for you. That pretty much sums up my mom’s utter lack of desire to eat at pretty much anything AKL has to offer And we of course moved our resort to stay here this fall. This was always a deal killer. I can’t imagine this fresh hell. That is pretty much us as well. My family ranges from me who will eat almost anything you sit in front of me, to people who don't like seafood, or pork, or spice, or whatever.
