How Often Do you Get The Longhouse You Want At The Polynesian???

Hi ive been reading up and asking alot of questions about The Polynesian and ive seen alot of people give their own views on their fave Longhouse and i now have another question;

When you request to stay at a certain Longhouse at The Poly, how often do you get the longhouse of your choice? Is it random or do you get your choice more often than not?

Also is it just Hawaii that has the club level rooms??

In my experience they have always honored our request for the Tahiti longhouse

We had requested Tuvalu or one other (can't remember which other one) but got Tuvalu. It was sooo nice! We loved how you look out your balcony and you only saw water, no land, beach, people, etc just water.

Hawaii is the only longhouse that has concierge rooms. You can always ask at check in which building you are in and if you are not happy with it you can ask for a change, I've done that alot.

How did u find the location of Rarotonga?

Tahiti's close proximity to the TTC and the quiet pool. The lagoon views are great.

Oh i def wudnt pay for the lagoon (or mk view)
But how do you find the quiet pool?
And do u find it better to be close to the GCH or the TTC??

We get our requested longhouse every time. However, that's largely due to the fact that we love Aotearoa which is probably one of the least requested of all buildings. We always request 3rd. floor with a monorail view and have gotten it 3 times in a row, again, I don't think too many people ask for it.

When we requested Rarotonga, we got it no problem!
We requested it for our next trip too.

I guess because it's kind of out of the way and not really close to the pools or GCH. It is however closer to the GF which is great for me as I use their spa to get my workouts in. Some claim they can hear the luau noise but we have never once heard it and as I said before we love the monorail view.
