How Much Time To Allot For Waterparks?

Our upcoming trip schedule is pretty packed, but we would like to visit both waterparks, if possible, since we have never visited either of them.
Our kids don't really like a lot of "scary" water attractions, but we would like to check out both waterparks.
Would 4 to 5 hours per park be enough time for us to enjoy a majority of the attractions?

We usually spend about 5 hours at a water park. Leave the Resort around 10 and get settled in our lounge chairs around 10:30 to 11. We then leave around 4. When at Blizzard Beach, we play mini golf too. :)

If you're going in August I'd get there at park opening if you want to get in 4 or 5 hours. Afternoon thunderstorms are very common that time of year and everything is shut down for an hour or two (sometimes more) if lightning is nearby.

We need time for things to happen.
Half day at each park? Yup that's a perfect amount of time to spend at both parks.
As everyone else has said go early and you can knock out a few slides, etc. before it gets to crowded.

However one year by chance we did go in the late afternoon until around closing and I have to say the last two hours were as empty as I've seen the water parks.

So that's something to consider too.

Either way - you'll have a blast! Enjoy!
