I'm going down late August and I was just wondering how everyone decides how much cash to bring on their trip, and do you leave most of it in your room and bring some for each day?

Well, we really dont use cash at all. We bring it to leave for housekeeping and thats about it. For our tips, alcohol, and souvenirs we just make sure there is money in our account for those things and we use our card. Usually its a couple hundred extra for everything.

We usually bring cash for Mousekeeping and for tipping the guys who valet the car. For the most part, we leave it in the in-room safe though. Everything else, we use our Key to the World.

Yeah, no problem. I just find that most people nowadays people dont really use cash a lot. Its so much easier to have one card to use for purchases.

My mom is still very careful about using cards, mostly uses cash, with the whole identity theft thing haha, so how much do you usually tip mousekeepers? and you have to do it every day because they have different people right?

Ever since living in Memphis and getting robbed at gunpoint, I do not carry cash. LOL I will probably carry at most $20 at a time on me while in WDW and use our debit cards or Key To The World for everything else.

I never carry cash. All I take is my room key and license.

I have a photocopy of my license, credit cards, and at least one other ID in my luggage just in case I lose my license. My neighbor, a foreign national, lost his license on a business trip and went through a lot of pain with TSA. He now carries a photo copy of his passport, license, legalization documents and other copies of IDs. He is also registered with TSA in case it happens again.
