My parents were both school-teachers. The first few Disney trips for me were actually to Disneyland when I was 4/5/6 years old. Than my grandparents did the snow-bird move to Florida and we started going to Disney minimum three times a year (spring break, summer break, Christmas break).
Than I moved to Florida myself after college and just went whenever I got the bug.
I stopped counting a few years ago when I hit one hundred trips, my wife jokes with me that if I do not visit a Disney park at least once a year I start going through Disney withdrawal symptoms. She still marvels how I go from serious adult to perma-grin child the second we make the turn off I-4 onto the Disney property.
I flew out for a business trip to Irvine, CA just a couple of weeks ago, and made my partner go to Disneyland afterwards (his first trip, imagine that). Yep, that must have been some sight. Two 30-something adult males in the front of the boat on IaSW, and PoTC. Unfortunately, it felt like half of the park was shut-down (HM, Space Mountain, BTM and Splash Mountain). But, on the plus side Matterhorn was open and that was shut down when I took the family last Christmas, lol...)
I got home and my wife looked at me and said, "You went to DisneyLand didn't you." I wonder how she knew...
