We also only use to go once a year, but since we joined DVC and got AP's, we have bumped that up to at least twice a year since 05. Those few choices have saved us alot of money in that time. You might want to check into those things. Next trip April 10th to the 15th. Have been going since 97 total of 14, and still going.

Plus I do a lot of work with Disney.
So I'm somewhere around the Mouse twice a month at least.

On average atleast once every three months. We have annual passes which allows for sweet deals on rooms and stuff (sometimes being a Florida resident rules). We're about 240+ miles away from the magic.

I work for a hotel company so I get really cheap rooms (not on property obviously) and I know several people who work for the company so if I want to stay on property I usually get a really good deal. Also I can get into the parks for free with my friends/the Disney employees. The most expensive thing for me is the food and flight down. I can go and spend about $300 or $400 a week

We average twice a year, but sometimes its more like 4 times a year. We stay at POR or WL and only stay for 4 night 5 days. Thats seems to be working for us. Its a bummer that this year I will only be going twice

I've been very lucky this year, I was in DL in the beginning of Feb as part of a trip to visit family in LA, and I plan on going to Orlando in August and staying with other family and BF agreed to go for a week in December so we can see the Christmas decorations! Hopefully nothing will fall through. In Feb and August, I will only really have to pay for airfare and park tix, but Dec will all be on me and the BF. I guess if you spread out your visits and only do a little at a time, you can go more often!

Usually 1 time a year, but for 2 -3 weeks. Usually stay with family. This time we are doing part time at pop and part time with family. Used to get an AP then go first year towards the end of August, then next year at the beginning of August so we would get 2 trips out of it. Stopped getting the AP when they stopped allowing them not to be activated at first use instead of when purchase. Just wasn't worth it for us.

I would love to stay at GF or BW or AKL or WL, but sacrafice that to be able to stay longer

First of all, beachclub, I am sorry to hear about your husband.

We go to WDW usually once a year. This is the first time we are returning twice in 8 months. We were supposed to go last May, but I was on bedrest with my pregnancy until June. We opted for Sept and took our 10 week old. Now he will be 10 months when returning.

We would love to go more frequently-friends of ours live in Celebration,Fl. They are a hop, skip and jump away! WDW is expensive for a family. We are going twice because of our tax return and saving throughout the year. Normally we can't do this. Another part of our reasoning is to go as many times before we have to pay for our son-he will add a considerable amount to everything, especially when he discovers Buzz Lightyear and all the other cool Disney paraphenalia!

I guess you go when you can and enjoy spending time with your family. If you don't go that often, it's just more of a reason to relish every second you are there!

From South Florida - at least every 4-6 weeks. Once my kids start to hint at that they would like to go this or that ride then my wife and I know it is time.
