It is SO cool....

And you're not weird, I'm the 27 year old Male with long hair and a goatee who happens to like to wear a long black trenchcoat...but I'm a Disney fanatic as well...:sohappy:
disney from ALL walks of life
i am a 6 foot 9 inch tall 21 year old, and EVERYONE that knows me knows my obsession with WDW - heck i moved there to work for a little while... but i know they all think i should be playing basketball, NOT OBSESSING over disney...
LOVE DISNEY - HATE BASKETBALL...

Love this topic!

I dont currently have a Disney themed room, but I am in the planning stages of it!

I live above my parents (sadly alone, still waiting for my prince to come  ) and have begun redecorating my bedroom and my living room, since this is going to be quite the wait for Prince Charming, judging by what Ive been attracting of late!

I have a collection of Sorcerers Apprentice art, but its all in its boxes atop my closet shelves! I do have a beautiful Cinderella and Prince Charming numbered print hanging in my bedroom though (anyone else see a theme here? ) which fits with its country cottage theme quite well :)

Anyhow, I was in Home Depot about a month ago looking for carpeting when I noticed DISNEY PAINT! And low and behold, there it was~SORCERERS HAT BLUE! I squeeled with delight! :sohappy: I got all excited and started to grab more chips~Mouse Ears black, Bobbidi Bobbidi Blue, Cinderellas Ball Gown blue...you get the idea! They also had little leaflets to give you ideas on how to decorate! I just love the colors! Tinker Bell, Happily Ever After, Fairest of them All, Buzz Blaster Blue, Silly Old Bear, 100 Acre Sky, Mickey Pants, Main Street Lights...and the white is....MICKEY GLOVES! :D

So now, instead of the mish mash kuntry krap theme I was going for originally, I have decided that this will be the Disney Room. I am thinking of using the Sorcerer's Hat Blue to paint the ceiling, and then painting stars here and there, like on the hat! Then, I want to paint black "film strips" on the walls and use them as borders to hang my Sorcerer sericells and other cells and wall art in! Of course I need new curio to keep the statues in :D

Im very excited about my plans, which, unfortunately are now on hold, pending the purchase of a new car to replace my wheezy, creaky old one  But I have my chips right here on my desk where I can look at them...and dream some more!!

Nothing in my house screams Disney really. I have a few posters, Disney art, books, and collectible stuff but thats about it.

If I have a theme it is probably movie/television memorbilia.

Let's see: my office is all Snow White; my house has a little in each room. Kitchen has some Chef Mickey items, music room is where I keep all of my Disney salt & pepper shakers, Living Room is where I keep my Cinderella snowglobe, hallway I have a Mickey & Minnie litho, upstairs bathroom is now converting to Nemo, masterbedroom has a Mickey & Minnie, my dressing room has a few Mickey's, and let's not forget the garden I have a Pooh stepping stone. I think that's it. Oh and my husband, who wears a Mickey T-shirt almost everyday!!!

My bedroom reminds me of the Boardwalk Villas suites. I've got blue walls and white furniture that has somewhat the same design as the rooms at Boardwalk. I've gotten the idea of blowing up a picture of the Boardwalk I have and hanging it over my bed...it'll look great! :)

Disney themed? Pssht. Everywhere you turn in my house I can guarantee you that you'll see a Mic or Min toy, picture, or whatever, in your view. Even in our car there's a Minnie hangin up front lol. I admit though that I'd love to theme a room from my future home as a WDW resort room. Be expensive though lol.
