How Many Outlets?????

Approximately how many outlets are there in a standard All Star Music Hotel room? I'm going for my senior trip and it's a room of four girls, which means four cell phone chargers, at least one battery camera charger, etc.
Should I bring a power strip? Thanks!! :animwink:

If I recall, most rooms have a duplex by the door (thats two outlets)

There is another duplex by the table with a lamp plugged into one outlet.

There is a duplex between the two beds, with the clock plugged into one outlet.

there is a duplex in the sink area

There is also one behind the TV that i THINK has one open outlet, but thats hard to get to.

I believe thats it.

We brought a power strip on our last trip, because of all of our recharging needs (Nintendo DSs, camera, videocamera, cellphones). It's much easier to set up a single "recharging station" than to try to find open outlets when there are so few to begin with.

Im sure other Mods are the same as POR. There you have one outlet by the table, One thats basically not accessable behind the TV, one behind the nightstand but has the clock radio using half of it and one in the wall beside the bed near the bathroom. There is also one in the bathroom but dont plan on using chargers on that one as it will be used for Hair dryers and shavers and such. Your best bet is bring a power strip as I do and plug it in by the table. If you are relying on your cell phone to recieve calls it would be best to clip it on the window blind while you are in your room. I have very rarely had any signal inside a room at any of the WDW resorts. The phone will usually ring but you will have to step outside to answer it or it will drop the call. This is just my experience with Verizon at POR, PoP, and the Poly.

I would recomend the power strip but just check with your airline if you are flying. Some do not allow you to travel with those for some stupid reason!

Thats odd. I get signals in any room I have ever stayed in. My cellular broadband also works well.

Thanks guys! I'm definitely going to bring one down - don't want too much of a hassle with moving things to get to the outlets.

What cell phone provider do you two have, WDWRLD and PhoneDave? I have AT & T so I wonder how that will go.

I always have signal, but I have nextel, is that what Disney typically uses or something? I never once dropped down in bars... always had full service every where I went!

I have Verizon

Verizon has been putting more cells in the WDW area. Verizon and Disney have also collaborated on a few things.
