It was always on the way to WDW from St. Pete. Though it was nothing compared to WDW, I always enjoyed Boardwalk and Baseball when I needed cheap carnival thrills. You were there secretly when I was a kid weren't you???![]()

YOU BET I DID!
That playground had it all! And then there were those bright-colored fountains to play in! Anyone remember the HUGE (or it seemed like it to a little kid) playground Mickey's Starland had? It was where the Barnstormer is now. Ahhh, good times indeed.
I remember that playground... I also remember the Rio Grande train ride (still there!) being my first-ever Disney attraction back in 1994.![]()
They had this really cool scrapbooking, stationery kind of store that was where the Lego store is now, and as a big sticker collector, I always racked up on some new puffies and scratch-and-sniffies there. The name of the shop totally escapes me right now. It was so much bigger and better than 3 R's was.
Man o man...y'all really took me back! I love looking back like this.
WOW oh WOW! I've never seen those pics before. I've never even seen that pic of the sign calling it Disney Village. That's awesome. Thanks for sharing!
Where was that playground located?
