how many miles

I was just wandering if any one has taken one of those pedometer with you to the parks?
And if so how many miles did you walk in one day?
Also was this just one park or did you hop to different parks?

I've never worn one, but on a thread posting the other day someone said they logged 7 miles a day on a recent trip.

I had 2 on my last trip but neither seemed to work right! I was very disappointed because I was really curious about how much we had walked...especailly since being at Disney with my DH means go, go, go!!

I've always wanted to do this, but never have. I've heard that one cast member, who walked on the conveyor belt for the Haunted Mansion for her shift, logged 8 miles in a single shift.

I did one day a few years back. In just MK and just for the day, we put in 13 miles. Then again, we don't go in "order" when we're there. We go where the lines are shortest, come back to things later if need be and make liberal useage of fastpass.

No wonder though I'm so beat when we get back!

I logged 13 miles one day over MK and EPCOT. And man, did I feel it the next day!!!

My dad wore one on our visit in May.

We logged anywhere between 7-13 miles a day. We didn't park hop.

My wife usually were's a pedometer. In one day we walked-

MK- 7 miles (hotel to hotel)

EPCOT- 9 miles (hotel to hotel)

Don't remember MGM or AK, but for an 8 nt trip, including both parks at USF in one day, we did 65 miles.

Seriously, though, it's probably your leg muscles bulking up! My calves always look so fit after I go to Disney. :lol:

Is that All ? I do Hotel maint and I walked about 8 miles a day just walking around the hotel. I thought it would be a whole lot more for an 8 hour shift

I was curious about this too. I want to get a pedometer for my next trip, Especially because I park hop alot. One day I rode the mono to EPCOt form the poly, walked around epcot for a bit, walked to boardwalk, then walked to MGM, then walked all day at MGM, and then walked back to the bus stop.
