So how hours of vidio do you record when you go to Disney World? When we go it is for 10 day trips and in that time I will vidio from 10 to 14 hours of vacation fun. It always amazes me when we watch it at home how much stuff you forgot you did till you see it in the vidio. I always vidio all the character meals, meet and greets, parades, live shows( I have to have my festival of the lion king fix)resort time fun, fireworks, and as much on ride vidio as I can get. So who else out there has the disney vidio taping bug

I only film on "special" trips. When I went with my friends for the first time, when we first went during the holiday season...etc.

Each time I film it comes out to be 6ish hours of footage for 6 days in the parks.

What`s Vidio??

I shot 32 hours of HD last September. I`m planning on having capacity for 57 this fall for a combined WDW/DL trip. But I do shoot things others might not.

Shooting anything more than maybe an hour a day, how does anyone have fun and EXPERIENCE the vacation? As opposed to worrying about capturing something through a little screen?

It's like people bringing mulktiple SLR bodies and lenses just to take snapshots.

While it may seem tiring when you are filming it on vacation, when you are back at home watching the footage, it somewhat gives you the feeling of being there, and the fact that you got all of the memories on camera, just how you like it. However, it can be tedious at times, so I made sure to turn it off and let myself relax. But filming is totally worth it.

I agree. That is why sometimes I just leave my cameras at home. If I have them there with me I am too tempted to film everything! Even though I have already seen everything, and even filmed everything, I always end up seeing my vacations through the lens of a camera.

Next week, I will be leaving for Florida....My cameras will not be!

it was the Kids first time to WDW last July 4th

We did about 12 hr. Wife taped all the shows we went to.

We also did about 4000 pictures. :)

Every morning i had a system, Wake up and unload video camera, and unload all the digital cameras onto two external hard drives.
That was "Dad's" job. ;)

On our last trip, I think we took about 5-6 hours of video on our last trip. But it does need to be edited, which we haven't gotten around to doing that.

Depends on what floats your boat.
