Here we go again... booked our Christmas trip. We'd go before that during summer or early fall, but for now, this COVID situation is far from being resolved.

Was supposed to be May 5. Now it's October 8. A new count down has begun. 176 days. Good thing I enjoy the planning aspect of it. Had to switch from Beach Club to Yacht. Still need to deal with rearranging air fare. But at least I have something to look forward to.

Annnnd it continues... Our well planned, long anticipated trip fades away.....e-mail refunding Villains After Hours event tickets, e-mail option of refunding or rescheduling Cirque du Soleil, which in our case will be a refund, and e-mails cancelling more ADR's...... Sad, sad, sad days for all of us missing out.

And at this point DW and I would be dragging the suitcases out planning the packing of shorts, t-shirts, other items, washing, folding etc. I'd be gathering snacks to take along, reconfirming reservations, gathering gift cards together. Get the van checked out for the trip. Make sure of our route. We'd be sooo excited about the last days before the drive. Now I can only sit home and watch Disney+, youtube virtual ride throughs, look at old photos of previous trips..... and cry.
