how many concerts have you been to?

I saw The Killers friday night. They were awesome. If you like them and get the chance to see them live, they are totally worth checking out.

1. Something Corporate at The House of Blues in Downtown Disney.
2. Relient K at the Social Pavilion in Downtown Orlando. Opening acts: Mae and Name Taken. I got a drumstick from Mae (it's in my car) and I also got to meet Relient K after the concert. A very good time.

That's about it.

Unless you count the numerous "Rock the Universe"s at Universal Studios in good ol' O-Town.

Oh....and on July 22nd (all thanks to my loving girlfriend) I will be forced to sit through a Backstreet Boys concert.

Ouch, I never thought to take count.

My 1st concert was KISS in 1979, I was 7 years old, my Dad brought me. Judas Priest was the opening act & I remember saying to me Dad, "what is with all the screaming, this is horrible".

Little did I know years later I'd be a "Priest" fan.

I've been to FAAAAR more shows at clubs than stadiums/large venues.

If I had to ballpark it, at least 100, many of those with multiple bands.

Last show - Mastodon/Death by Stereo/Cult of Luna @ House of Blues
Next show - hopefully Morbid Angel or Obituary/Napalm Death or Candlemass

To give a general idea of my musical tastes: (read at your own risk)

Slayer 4
Kiss 10
Morbid Angel 4
Entombed 2
White Zombie 3
Sepultura 2
Cannibal Corpse 2
Gwar 2 (only time I ever stage-dived)
Suffocation 4
Queensryche 2
Deicide 1
Fear Factory 1
Dismember 2
Alice N Chains 1
Autopsy 1
King Diamond 2
Behemoth 1
Immolation 2
Obituary 2
Mastodon 2
Brutal Truth 3

Jimmy Buffett- Sunrise FL, Date N/A (I'm guessing February 2002 or 2003)

What year was that?
'03

Some people I knew were going and they asked if I wanted to go with them. Back then I liked a few of the bands that were playing (I no longer do however) so I decided to go. I started to have hearing problems once I got home.

I feel kinda bad that I slept through some of it. Luckily, I was awake for my favorite songs, Margaritaville and Cheeseburger in Paradise.

I'll be sure to look you up in the Brava Centauri phone book.
