How Long Have You Lived in the World?

I'm guessing there have been threads like this before? But i'll ask anyway as they are always fun....:)

Whats the longest period of time you have stayed on Property at Walt Disney World Resort?

Our longest time was 21 Days at "POP" during the month of December 2005.

Does anyone know if there's some kind of a "World Record" for the Guest who has stayed in a Disney Resort and has the longest consecutive booking?

Too bad that in the US, jobs look down on long vacations. In some cases they try to get you take an extra paycheck rather than let you go anywhere that keeps you from your job. I'd love to take more than a week at a time, I get 4 weeks, but then if we were allowded to go for more than a week, we could not afford it, so if I were you I'd feel very lucky that you are able to do so.

sort of a tough one to answer because......

vacations worked differently here in the states compared to europe, brazil etc. i know from conversations that A LOT of european travelers visit the world for 3 or more weeks at a single time. in fact last september i was chating with a guy from england who told me there were in florida for 4 weeks with 3 of them staying on property, although he did say that they were using the disney resort as sort of as a base to visit some other places, i.e. kennedy space center and tampa and that not all of the time staying on property was to just visit disney world....

with all of that said, the longest single visit we had was 17 days back in 1987 when we still lived in new jersey. and aside from a few hours spent going to mercaldo and church street station (BUT NOT that UNI place yuk yuk) it was all spent at the parks. actually that year we made 4 separate trips to disney staying on property for a total of 7 weeks or about 57 to 50 nights.

to be honest i too often wondered what was the RECORD for times visited through the year or nights spent on property or number of trips to the world. numbers are muddled of course because if you live near the world and go every weekend then does that count???? so i guess the answer is there is no real answer at all because of all of the dynamics.

9 nights was our longest and we tend to go for 7. We can't generally get off of work for longer than a week and also can't generally afford to go for longer...

EDIT: That answer was for me as adult paying for the trip. When I was a kid, we did go once for 14 days but I did not pay for that...

Love the Beach Club - last time we requested a groundfloor room, and got a lovely little patio where we had breakfast etc with squirrels and ducks round us (I sound like Snow White!). Also it overlooked the lake - fab. I don't know how to put pics on here but there are some on my profile page. Have a great time.
