How has the weather been?

We are leaving on Oct 5 and I have been checking weather.com for days now and it always says that it will be raining all of the days of our trip. And it says it has been raining this whole past week.
I am getting a little nervous.
Have any of you been there the last few days or those of you who live in Florida. How has the weather been and are they forecasting rain for the next few weeks?

We were going to book the end of October and now I am kinda wishing we had. Hopefully it will clear up by the 5th.

I live about 10 minutes from Disney, and we haven't had so much as a drop of rain lately, but it has been a bit chillier (60s at night, low 80s/high 70s during the day). The weather here frequently forcasts rain - doesn't mean we always get it. If you're bringing a bag into the parks, pick up one of those emergency ponchos (look around camping gear -they're lightweight and cheap), and stash it in your park bag. I highly doubt you'll need it. And never let rain keep you from enjoying your vacation. Almost all the attractions are indoors anyhow, and even if it does rain a bit, it very rarely lasts more than a few minutes.

Thanks for the reply! That makes me feel much better.
I can deal with a bit of rain here and there, I am just hoping there won't be any all day type things. The website was making me really nervous and since I don't know the weather there at all I was not sure what to expect.
Thanks!

It said the same thing when we went a few weeks ago for weather and it only rained one day for about an hour. So I'm sure you'll be fine. If not though we were there in April and it poured non-stop for about 4 days. We just bought a disney poncho (8 dollars I think and they fold up easily into bags when not needed), put on sandals so we didn't have to deal with soaked feet and enjoyed the shorter lines at the indoor attractions. Regardless you'll have loads of fun whether the sun is shining or not! Have a great vacation!

I just got back 2 days ago and it said it was supposed to rain my whole trip too...every day. There was only one rain storm that lasted for quite a few hours, but other than that, nothing.

Definitely don't fret. Bring rain gear...we bring umbrellas...but don't be afraid that it's going to rain every day of your trip. And hey, if it does, then stay in the parks. Hopefully it will be over quickly and all the people will have left to go back to their resorts. :)

I just returned on Thursday evening. Was there for 1 week, brought ponchos with us, but didn't need them. A couple of days it did "sprinkle" for a few minutes, and on Monday, 22nd, it rained from noon on, all day, (we were at the mall that day, so it didn't matter) but other than that, the weather was fantastic. Don't worry...it can be raining lightly in one park, and sunny in another...it just depends on where the cloud is. You'll be fine.

I live right here and the weather has been fantastic. Hardly any rain at all and the temp in the morning and evening has been wonderful. About 83 - 85 midday....Hopefully it stays this way for your trip..
