We are staying at WL for the first time in november. Tell me how great it is and that is worth the money !!

I definitely look foward to staying at the WL. It'll be our first Deluxe resort and it looks like a great choice! I'm just hoping mid-May won't be too crazy next year. Two years ago, it was absolutely wonderful!

WL is our favorite resort. We love the theming and boat transportation. Two years ago in December we took a "sleigh ride". It was a 30 minute carriage ride in the woods that was so quiet & relaxing that we totally forgot that we were in WDW. You do have to make reservations for the "sleigh rides" by calling 407 WDW-PLAY.

The WL is really great in December, something about the Christmas tree, deorations, and sleigh ride really make it feel like home even more than usual. Also it's a great place to buy pins. The same lady has been there for the last 5 years and she is very nice.

I love the pool at the WL - sitting there reading a book, listening to the relaxing music! The lake is really pretty, too, and taking the boat to the MK is always nice. We always watch the water parade from the beach at night. I don't hear a lot about the WL being a "romantic" resort but dinner at Artist point followed by a walk along the paths/beach at night is pretty romantic! The big veggie salad at Whispering Canyon is really good, too! I've been craving it since we left!

We stayed in a 1BR Villa at WL earlier this year. Plenty of room for our 5 (2 adults, 2 kids, 1 infant). We loved it!

We stayed outside Disney property for our honeymoon 25 years ago, then we stayed at the value resorts, ASM when the kids were young, at the CBR a couple of years ago, and now the WL this comming January...we arrive in 93 days on the 6th. We've never been there, but are so looking forward to it. I've started my hunt for all things that will ready us for our trip. I even went to our local library and borrowed a video copy of Walt Disneys Davy Crockett. I am also searching web sites for WL loop music. There is no doubt in my mind that this will be a great trip.:sohappy:

I changed my res. from the GF to the Poly in Jan. because I can stay at the GF for half price next June. Maybe I should have stayed at the WL after looking at all the rave reviews.

Cool. We are checking in to SSR on the 6th as well. We wanted to stay at the Villas of WL but they didnt have a two bedroom available for our entire stay.
