On Saturday she didn't make make an appearance. I have been at Magic Kingdom almost every weekend for the past year and never had this experience--it just wasn't the same :-(. Any insight as to what may have happened?

Usually inclement weather, wind or lightning in the area.

I saw Tinkerbell's Flight in 2000 - but really can't remember it well. Is it the same now? I read references to it being an "effect," but honestly can't remember what I saw.

I have never not seen the show without Tinkerbell. But still find it to be one of the most amazing things a Disney park has ever done, dont know why just gets me every time and Im glad its something thats never been cut or changed. Would love to know that persons salary lol and how many of them do they use?

At the Desserts Party we attended this past February Tinkerbell didn't fly and the weather was clear and not windy. I wonder why.

Even if it's not windy on the ground, if it windy up on her platform, this can be a factor in her not flying. I've seen Wishes dozens of times and I think a handful of times she didn't fly. We stand there on Main Street and wait for the moment she should take flight and we always say "Will she? Or won't she?" but I'm glad to report she usually does.

And we always say, "There she goes!!" :D
