How frequently is Tinkerbell missing from "Wishes" ?

Well, cast members get sick too. Is it possible she had a few too many LeFou's brews* and there was no one to replace her that night?

(*Yeah, yeah I know it's non-alcoholic)

She won't come out for multiple reasons. They could be having technical difficulties, there could be lightning within a certain radius, it may be too breezy for her, or a CM could be sick.

I've only seen Wishes once without Tinkerbell, and it was on one of the nights where it was too windy for her to fly. I wasn't too disapointed, as Tinkerbell's flight really isn't a gigantic deal IMO.

I went to WDW in 2010 and in 2011, saw Wishes once the first time and twice the second. Each time I waited and watched and yet not once did Tink fly :( I believe in fairies and everything! :arghh:

I cannot count the number of times we have seen Wishes and we have yet to see Tinkerbell fly. I personally think she is a myth. Like the Yeti. Oh yes. Yes I did go there. :cautious:

It's like if the ball didn't drop at Times Square on New Years Eve. I think I've actually only been at MK for the fireworks once, and Tinkerbell did fly, though I only vaguely remember what it looked like.

Wow, where were you located to get each of those photos?
(For some reason, I am having visions of Hugh Jackman's debacle of an entrance to one of Oprah's final shows on that zipline in Australia after seeing these pics!)

He's not the actual source of the pictures.

First one is taken from TInkerbell's launch platform on Cindderella Castle.
Second is taken from Tinkerbell's landing platform way behind the Tomorrowland Terrace, on the roof of the Buzz Lightyear building.

I thought Tinkerbell flew up to the castle, not away from it.
