Don' know the miles right off - 15 hours. We go at least once a year. Can't afford to go more than once and vacation days are hard to come by.

1,275 miles, over 19 hours of driving, that is why I fly :)

Go as often as we can,( about every other year) but since my kids are 18 and 21 it is like taking another couple along on vacation and paying the entire bill.

Growing up, we always said we'd make the 1100 mile drive from IL once every five years as that's all my single income parents could afford, but we'd usually end up getting ancy and go every 3 or 4 instead. Now that I'm graduated from college and married, we've been averaging about once every two years. Last trips were 1998, 2000, and 2002. Next trip will be 2005 (we took a year off to go on our honeymoon to Las Vegas, having just been to WDW to get engaged (in 2002))).

Anyway, not enough, but a good amount to keep it fresh and special. :)

865 miles and we go about 6 to 10 times a year. We will usually go for some weekends and a couple of longer trips. We will hit the road on Friday evening and get there first thing Saturday and stay until Sunday or Monday.

Well, according to MapQuest I am 963.67 miles from my front door to the Wilderness Lodge at WDW :D And I am 2558.44 miles from my front door to Disneyland!

I usually go to WDW once a year if lucky, or if not, every other year. And so far, there has only been one time where I was really lucky and went twice in one year ;):D

As for Disneyland, lol, I've never been, but hope to next summer!!

from NJ, so approx. an 18 hr. drive (can't stand it) or a 3-4 hr. flight(possibly less; can't remember 'cuz we usually drive. I usually go only once a year, but within the last two years i've gone 4 times, so double the fun. More than a year w/o Disney...no can do...would sink into depression.

Not often enough!

About 1000 miles, and a wonderful 14 hr trip by car.
I just went solo in April, and going again in 2 weeks. Hopefully with my brother, but either way im there.
Once I get back just another 2 month wait and I'll be there permanantly as I am moving to Orlando. It just feels like home when im there, so im making it home! HaHa

PixieDuster, or another other current employee: Im hoping to give a call to the casting hotline tomorrow about possibly working somewhere in the world. Would you know if they would give me an interview while i was visting on vacation? Any help would be great thanx.

Just over 500 miles from my door to WDW! That is WAY too far. It takes us about 6-7 hours to drive (depending on traffic through Pensacola, Tallahassee and Orlando). We went in 97, 99, 2000, and 2001. I am dying to get back down there! We are planning to move down that way when my daughter graduates from high school (May 2007).

Current Cast Members....... Do you know of any jobs they may have for science teachers? I would love to be a CM, but really don't want to get a different degree. My husband is in computers (networking, hardware, etc...) so he can get a job just about anywhere.

Not a cast member, buuuut...
I wonder what happened to all the instructors and counselors and whatnot that used to work at the Disney Institute. I wonder if they got placed into other programs or if without the Institute, the need just isn't there any more... Maybe a science teacher could find some sort of place in Animal Kingdom or Rafiki's Planet Watch? I'm stretching here....

816.70 miles or just about 13 hours.

If we don't stop at South of the Border....or for gas....or food....

We've gone 2 times in the past 3 years, but now we're going to go once a year...only 16 more days til we leave!!!

It's just under 90 miles one-way to WDW. Pending traffic and perpetual construction on I-4, we've made it in as little as 1 hour 15 minutes and as long as four hours. No, really. Four hours sitting, unmoving on the interstate.

Last summer we got Play 4 Days passes and upgraded them to Seasonal. Through June of this year, we were there every few weekends. Since the passes expired I've been once (because a CM who used to work there got me in for free). As soon as I have enough cash to get passes again, we'll be there every few weekends again!

As a kid, I would go every few years, pending school trips to Epcot (it's educational!) and family vacations. I went in 1995 for Grad Nite but then not again until 2000 and then not again until 2003 and the birth of being a Passholder and all the joys that come with it! (Once you go passholder, you never want to go back!)
