How Far in Advance to make reservations?

I am planning to visit "the World" after Thanksgiving, 2010:sohappy:. I know this is a long way off but wanted to know when would WDW start accepting reservations for this time?

You can make room only reservation 499 days out. Packages will be available in August.

and if you are going for Thanksgiving the sooner the better! We found it hard this yr getting our resort of choice even being a DVC member.

You can always book a room only now and switch it to a package when they become available in August that way you are guaranteed to get the resort and room type you want.

You can't book yet. Room only bookings for American Thanksgiving will be available 499 days prior to your desired departure date.
