How early for Fantasmic

Going to Fantasmic again after taking a couple years off. Tried to get Dinner Package, but that seems impossible even at 180 days out. So my question is how early should one arrive to get a seat, not a great seat, just to get a seat???

Depends on the day, season, etc. Generally, 30 minutes early will get you a seat.

I remember me and mother when we were locals and the show had just opened in Florida back in 98 we got there about 2/3 hours early to get a good seat. :wave:

easywdw.com has a calendar for May. I did call to make reservations and confirmed that the 9th had a showing. I think they are only Monday, Thursday, Friday in May

I would say that 30 min should be sufficient. If I remember correctly they don't even open the stadium until 30 min prior.

I have been in every section and with the exclusion of the last one on each side they are all pretty good seats so it isn't imperative that you get there right at the time they open the seating.

Is it a busy time of the year? Do you care where you sit? Will you be going to the 1st or 2nd show?


If it's busy and you go to the first show and you care where you sit, get there 1.5-2 hours early.

If you go to the 2nd show, 30-45 minutes is fine.

You can also try going to a restaurant at Hollywood Studios on the day of Fantasmic! and asking if they have any more Dinner Packages left. If you go early enough and ask, most of the time they do.

Now, if you get the Dinner Package you can arrive anytime you want, but if you care where you sit, get there 1.5-2 hours early because that's when other people who have the package arrive too. If you don't care, go whenever you want.

Seating for the Dinner Package is on the extreme right of the theater if you are facing the stage. Notice you will NOT be front row and center.

Depends on how much you want to see it and the season. If you went now, you should probably go 30-40 minutes in advance if you want to get a seat. Try and get a Fantasmic Dinner package, to be safe.
