Going to take our first Magic cruise inJanuary and wondering what it's like? Been on the Dream twice, not too concerned with the adult dining on the magic, just everything else.
The restaurants aren't currently as tech-cool but that will change this fall with the drydock upgrades. The food quality/quantity was pretty much the same for us from the Dream to the Magic. You'll have a fabulous time. The biggest difference is the size & scale overall. The atrium is big for the ship but seems small vs. the grande, huge atrium on the Dream. We actually like the smaller size better for its more relaxed, intimate feel. Biggest perk is Castaway Cay day. You have half the guests on the island as the bigger ships so it feels waaaay emptier.
Agree with this 100%. If anything, I was less impressed with Palo on the Fantasy than on the Magic. (We didn't have time for Palo on the Dream.) But the rotational restaurants will be very close to the same quality.
