How do you start out at the MK?

I have spoken to a few people about how they start out the park, and most say something different.

When we go to MK on the first day, we always start out in Tomorrowland and work our way around the lands that way. We always start out at Buzz and usually ride it twice before moving on. Then we pick up a Fast Pass at SM and return later. If it is not too crowded, we just go on it right then. After finishing Tomorrowland, we journey to Toon Town and continue on from there. On our second day there, we start in Adventureland and hit anything we miss there.:animwink:

On our first day in MK, we always take a left and start out in Adventureland continue to Frontierland and Liberty Square, then Fantasyland, and Tomorrowland. This allows us to hit 2/3 of the mountains before crowds build up. On our second full day to MK we usually start in Tomorrowland and continue around.

I usually start off with POTC and then make my way to Tomorrowland for a SM Fastpass. Then it's off to Frontierland where we wait for the SM Fastpass time to kick in, and from there we take it as we go. Ah! Just talking about it has me in the mood to pack.

i know i like to start in tomorrowland since that really puts me in the disney mood, but i know the story is if you go to the MK at opening most people go to tomorrowland first and work their way around and starting in adventureland you would encounter less of a crowd

Standing in the front of the mob under the shade as we wait for the rope to be dropped and hoping for some start of the day pixie dust. We then run to be in the front of the mob at Tomorrowland so we can ride Space Mountain. :ROFLOL:

Since DD is still young enough to really like all the Fantasyland attractions, we head there first. We can hit all of the Fantasyland attractions (except Philharmagic- we save it for later) before 10am, and get to Toontown for their opening. We do the meet and greets there, then get on the train and get off at Frontierland to do the Mountains there with not too much of a wait (we get a FP for one and ride the other). We can usually get all this done by 11:30am or so- then it's time for an early lunch.

When we arrive in the Magic Kingdom we head over to Tomorrowland and hit Buzz,COP,MILF, fastpass Space Mountain and then take a ride on the TTA.

This isnt something we ALWAYS do, but it is my fav way.

Day 1 - Teacups, teacups oh and more teacups then dumbo, pooh bear, carousell, carrousel, carrousel, stand in line a lifetime for Ariel, grab lunch, iasm, iasm, iasm, iasm, peter pan, mickeys philarmagic then another pooh bear. By now its home time and we only covered 1 land.
Day 2 - Toon Town, wait a lifetime to see the princess and mickeys friends and mickey, spend an hour in the play area! goofy ride, goofy ride, donalds boat then if were lucky we might make it to adventureland (avoiding Fantasy Land but we can never go into the park without doing teacups, pooh bear and carrousel at least once)
Day 3 - I need a rest!!!!!
this is why we need 2 weeks!!!!
This is with a 4 year old, hope it gets quicker as she grows!!! Or we could just go for 3/4 weeks!! ha ha

Adventureland first. Usually we do Jungle Cruise first, but in June we did POTC first and it was a wise choice. We finish one land at a time before we move to another.

We like to walk straight down main street and get our picture in front of the Walt statue and castle. Then we go left to get on the Haunted Mansion. After that it's usually PotC, Jungle Cruise, and then we just wing it from there.

Well on my last trip I booked it to Haunted Mansion first as I had not been on it since the refurb.. (it was down for my honeymoon last year :fork: ) I then fast walked over to POTC and saw Jack Sparrow then I just ran from attraction to attraction the rest of the day.....Oh yah I was by myself so I got to do all four parks in two days getting on everything I wanted....

Sorry for the slight diversion of topic

Continue lol

I always begin with Main Street USA...

Nice...
I see what you did there.

Before I turned 12, we'd always start at the Walt Disney World Railroad, and took it to the Frontierland stop (although, as a kid, I'd ALWAYS wish we'd keep going all the way to ToonTown).

And then for a good phase after that, we'd start at Tomorrowland and get Space Mountain Done first (now that i WASN'T scared of Roller Coasters).

And then I met my girlfriend....and we start absolutely nowhere in particular, and it is a beautiful feeling.
