I just got back from another Orlando vacation and had an amazing time! It made me think what are the best lands in each park. I also see this hasn't been done a lot at least for a park like this one. This is the first of a few threads I will make for each of each park. We can also update this when Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge opens. How do you think they rank from the best to worst? These are just for fun! The lands are...

I'm at a lost of the hate that toy story land gets.

It's one thing to completely disagree with others' take on Toy Story Land but to not understand their complaints shows a lack of awareness on your part.

Just as I find TSL terribly disappointing I fully recognize why others applaud it.

We live in a free country and people can like or dislike what they choose. I like Blade Runner, I understand why others don't. I dislike The Fast and the Furious movies, I understand why others do. I like the new Toy Story Land, however I don't understand why others don't. I don't have to understand, I'm not obligated to understand, but your free to like or dislike.

You got needlessly hostile pretty fast. He didn't berate you or anyone who dislikes Toy Story Land. He simply said he doesn't understand why people dislike it. There are some things other people just don't understand.

One can like riding SDD and even get a kick out of Saucers just to see what music you get and still be disappointed that there isn't more to TSL. All that's left is TSMM, two gift kiosks, a CS, and restrooms.

I didn't say anything regarding my opinion on Toy Story Land. The point I was making was that someone does not need to get hostile simply because someone doesn't understand why a crowd doesn't like Toy Story Land so long as that person is not being belligerent.

Defensive aren't we? I think I was making a good point why one could be unsatisfied with TSL. I personally like the new rides but wish they could do more with the land. It doesn't have to be an either or. Also, why don't you move on. If I may, its seems you're now the one becoming belligerent.

No I actually agree that Toy Story Land doesn't exactly make sense in Hollywood Studios and it is kinda cheap and already falling apart. It also has no shade and its flagship attraction has already been in the park for 10 years. The land did turn out better than I expected but if someone doesn't understand and feels that the new land is perfect, that's fine.

It was built in many ways as a quick addition to fill the gap until Star Wars opened. And it's been so overwhelmed with guests- really the crowds in that area of the park have been ridiculously crazy, I'm not surprised it's looking like parts of it are falling apart. There's been little opportunity to even keep it up.

It's about on a par with the version at Disneyland Paris. It's a neat area, not fantastic in it's theming, but it fits well with what they wanted to do and on a relatively small budget.

As someone who just came back from Disneyland Paris, no. Toy Story Land in Hollywood Studios, despite all my complaints, is miles above the Toy Story Land in Walt Disney Studio Park. It felt super cheap there and they're all off-the-shelf rides. Slinky Dog Dash, while not much above an off-the-shelf ride, is miles better than the Slinky Dog Spin. And Toy Story Midway Mania, despite being there 10 years prior to the land's opening, is a merit to the land.
