Never really thought of this park as being split up into lands. Never thought there has been much to warrant a separate grouping.
  1. Sunset Blvd... for placement of Tot & RnRC
  2. Hollywood Blvd... I love the look of the street leading into the park, with storefronts, store signs, billboards, traffic signals.
  3. Toy Story Land

what are the obvious reasons we should not like toy story land???

OK first things first. I was saying that those who have taken issue against TSL have made their positions fairly clear on this board; therefore, I find posters who tell us things like "I can't understand why anyone has a problem with TSL" as unaware because of the obvious complaining ---the greivances have been talked about many times over around here. This doesn't necessarily mean that those greivances are accurate, well founded or justified. It just means that those complaints are fairly well known.

It was built in many ways as a quick addition to fill the gap until Star Wars opened. And it's been so overwhelmed with guests- really the crowds in that area of the park have been ridiculously crazy, I'm not surprised it's looking like parts of it are falling apart. There's been little opportunity to even keep it up.

It's about on a par with the version at Disneyland Paris. It's a neat area, not fantastic in it's theming, but it fits well with what they wanted to do and on a relatively small budget.

When SW:GE opens, they might need (they probably won't) shut down all of TSL for refurbishment because of all the quick wear and tear its getting.

Hollywood Blvd - just for the look of the walk in.
Toy Story Land - sure, its not for everyone, I just think they did a good job there.
The whole night time spectacular thing - just because its awesome.
Star Wars March - great use of Hollywood Blvd
Sunset Blvd is ok.

Its our third favorite park after EP and AK...and will only get better with SWGE

The negative things people say(besides lack of shade, and maybe Alien Swirling Saucer) about the land, I don't understand how they reached the conclusion that they did. The theme I thought was great and well executed, the rides are fun and again well themed, food I haven't had it, the bathrooms are themed very nicely, the toy soldiers marching around I think are pretty fun to interact with and a nice show. So again I just don't understand where the "hate" or negativity for the land comes from. I just simply don't. Call me ignorant.. I'm glad I am cause I want to enjoy the Land.

This poll made me realize just how much I’ve missed in our 2 year hiatus. Haven’t been back yet since the opening of the obvious, Toy Story Land, but it also slipped my mind that we have yet to see Grand Avenue as well. And now I’m excited to go to Hollywood Studios. Who woulda thunk.

Sunset Boulevard is my personal favorite though. I adore the shops, semi windy road, wide benches to sit and people watch, and of course, the screams from Tower of Terror. At night, when it’s all lit up... one of my favorite lands period.
