How do you make it through?

We have 131 days people! 131 DAYS! It seems like a long time but I've been told it will go by fast! Aghhhh! I just want to be in the world, walking around POFQ (never stayed before) and seeing all the magic of Christmas that Disney has to offer! This will be a first for us! Weeee! I'm getting antsy!

What do you do make it through until the glorious day of check in?! It's killing me! Haha.

Agreed! I spend quite a bit of my free time lurking on these boards getting new ideas for my upcoming trip! (Only 92 days to go!!)

I also read Disney books - just read "3500: A Boy's 10 Year Romance with Snow White " by Ron Miles (which is excellent), and now I'm working my through the two coffee table books written by the Imagineers. I love concept art, and learning about the developmental history behind my favorite attractions!

Live365 (similar to Pandora) has some great WDW stations that play music from the parks, Reedy Creek Radio and Mouse World are my two favorites.

Feeling your pain. We did have 115 days until I moved our reservation due to getting free dining, know we have 129. I know it's only 14 days but THATS 14 DAYS!!

I look through pics from past trips, watch Martin's video's, watch rides/shows on youtube, peruse menus, listen to the music. I am a Disney junkie.

It will go by fast. I booked at 135 days and I am down to 8 days. Just being occupied with daily life helps. I will be honest since I hit 40 days its been a little harder. Even this forum isn't helping. Being in on all the discussions is making the itch worse.

We ALL suffer through the long arduous wait. It's a killer but you just have to be patient and wait it out. Dreaming of whats to come. Watching Videos, DVD's, TV programs. Consulting guide books, computer sites, planning sheets.....Biding your time, watching the calendar, watching the countdown clock, as the months, weeks, days,hours, minutes s l o w l y pass until you finally.... yes you finally do make it onto Disney property.

It is so hard!!! Have you started packing yet?? Hee hee Once I make that final payment, when ever it is, the bags come out! HA!

I try and keep myself busy with non-Disney things, but that only goes so far...so I come on here a lot. I also shop...for things we probably don't need. It's also tough b/c my kids don't know about this trip (nor have they known about the last 2), so I can't say much around the house.

Take it one day at a time. You definitely don't want to lose focus on what needs to be done for the household before the trip.

At about 90 days I do a countdown with trivia daily for hubby and at least once a week I make a Disney recipe.

131 days will go by fast.. when we booked our trip, we were at 276 days and I cannot believe that we are down to 85 now. It is bitter sweet... once I get there I know I will wishing that I was back to counting down the days all over again. I feel like I live a routine each day with work and all so the days have definitely been going by fast... the weeks even!

I felt your pain being stuck inside all winter! At least it's still summer. Relax and breathe at least you're going to Disney! Stalk this sight and watch lots of Disney movies. That's what got me there with only a minor nervous breakdown! LOL
