that would be great! not to be rude though, unless it is a long process, would you mind telling me how to do it? that way i can change it whenever i want to! thanks for your help though! (i have a ton of disney gifs and jpegs...)

Well, you just take a picture that you like and resize it to fit. You'll need some sort of photo-editing program to do this. If you don't have one, you can downlaod a free one at www.gimp.net. If you actually take the time to learn it, you can edit the photos in other manners as well. It can be a lot of fun.
Maximum avatar size is 160 x 160 pixels, and 20k in file size.

I think we should have some avatar making tutorials...
as for me, I generally make a larger image and shrink it down. For example, my current avatar is just a shrunken down version of this attachment. Albeit, it took me over 2 hours to get this perfect... most avatars take me less than 20 minutes and are much simpler.. like wdw*babe's which took me about 7 mins.
fyi... I use Photoshop and Illustrator for mine... as well as animation shop or PSP 8 depending on what I want to do...

Once you have the pic loaded in Paint, click on Image, then you can either click Stretch/Skew and shrink it vertically and horizontally by whatever percentage you need to (requires some math on your part ), or go to Attributes and just change the width and height manually. (This might be easier, since, as I recall, if you alter one dimension, the program will automatically alter the other to keep the image to scale--so you can just reduce whichever is larger down to 160 and the other will come along for the ride.) Just use whichever shrinking method you prefer until you're down to or under 160, 160.
