How do you get from Disney Resorts to Disney Parks?

When I visit, I always park hop, and I just find it easier to use WDW transportation. No traffic problems (at least none that could put a dent in MY car :lol: ) no trying to find the right exit, etc. I just hop on the bus/boat/monorail and relax.
It also makes it safe (and legal) for both of us to have an adult beverage or two in the evening with dinner or at a club.

I love the boats and monorail but usually drive to the parks
I remember how fun the buses were as a kid the drivers were super friendly and it wasnt a mob getting on them. I really dont like the motor cooach buses but theres a definite need for all those people. Its just not like it used to be. Even at the deluxe resorts when you have to take a bus its no fun. last year we had "direct buses" from the dolphin but they still stopped all over the place and it took an hour to go to MK
I wonder if they stopped advertising that as a benefit to the deluxe resorts our driver told us they only have direct during the summer when its busiest and more buses....made sense but still sucked

We do a combo of car and monorail. We always rent a car and use that to get to MGM and AK and to the different hotels at night for dinner. Then for MK and Epcot or for going to the Contemporary or GF, we use the monorail at the TTC and the resort monorail. We never take the buses because we don't like waiting for them or dealing with them either. This system works for us, especially since it's just the 2 of us and a small, no frills car is all we need.

Unless we're doing something later in the day that requires the car - we always use Disneys fuel !!
