How do you cool off at WDW?

It's absolutely freezing in the Mid West today. How does a -10 to -40 wind chill sound? I find myself thinking of my favorite ways to cool off on a hot day at the World. #1 is, of course, enjoying a cool Dole Whip. What's yours?

Right now??? Walking outside. It is about 60 degrees here and that is cool enough for me... But a Dole Whip does sound refreshing. Here we go with the Dole Whip thread again!!!

When I have gone in the middle of summer, I take a towel(about the size of a handtowel) and loop it though my belt.

(I was a bartender in a former life .(I nice trade to know, it still comes in handy at times!))

It works great for wiping off the sweat that inevitably occurs in the sweltering humidity.

 Sitting behind Tinkerbells Treasures in the shade and just relaxing. Also, the rocking chairs on the porch of the Liberty Tree Tavern IF you can get one!!

i use a cool mist, connects around your waist and you pump it up for pressure. which is normally good for a few uses, it sprays a cool mist out of a hose , works wonders in the heat!!!!!

Going to Club Cool and drinking multiple shots of either China's Watermelon soda or Israel's Kinley.
Or some of that yummy Beverly :lookaroun

:hurl:

To cool off, I would have to go with a Dole Whip, run through whatever water fountains they have (the ones for kids, not a real water fountain), go on HM, or go on a water ride.

Actually, most of the inside rides (Space, HM, POTC, Indy) are very cold while waiting in line.

Diving in and out of air conditioned buildings.

Putting my wrists under water - be it cold running water or plunging them into one of the water features in the parks.

Well, it may not be as bad here in Jersey but, it's still pretty cold when the wind blows. For me my first suggestion would be to move to Florida, but since that may not be possible, what I like to do while there is just walk down Main Street right past the store fronts and get hit with the cold flow of air from them. By the way, my wife grew up in Kansas, where abouts are you?

I like to cool off in many ways at WDW.

A trip back to the hotel for a swim.
Visiting the water parks.
Visiting the the merchandise shops.
Riding a dark ride (POTC)
Eating at a sit down service restaruant.

And what is that? SOmething like I have in my picture?

It's a neck wrap made of fabric that has tiny little absorbing beads inside it. It stores flat, but when you soak it in water for about an hour or so, the beads absorb the water and it puffs up. The beads will hold onto the water all day long. You wrap the cobber around your neck like a scarf and it cools your body down because it sits against your carotid artery. It will keep you cool all day long.

That sounds wonderful, I will have to look into THAT !
