How do they coordinate where Mickey is all the time?

Ok...this may be a bit of a damper question and is not necessarily magical :o)

But, do they have a computer system that knows where ALL the characters are at all times so that they are not seen "oubleday" (in pig latin) at the same time?

computer program is not needed. :lookaroun

the mouse knows.

(but it is . . . magical how he can be seen in places not far from each other in a relatively short period of time. :D )

Our tour guide mentioned this when i took the keys to the kingdom tour last summer. our tour guide said that they keep a record of where most of their characters are at all times, she said that mickey is only normally found at his mouse in toon town and this stops when the parade is on. the "smaller" characters are not included on the same sytem as "larger" characters such as Mickey.

They have probably tagged him with a tracking device like they do in the wild. I'll have to see if I can see anything on the back of his ears on my next visit.

Must have been an old tour. Mickey used to be confined to his House not to long ago but has since returned to Main Street with frequency.

i asure you occationaly mishaps happen. I have seen goofy outside character connection and just a few feet away him at Mission space.

Also seen pluto in two places in close proximity.

Tokyo

Or if you're here at Tokyo Disneyland, forget all that nonsense. Just put Mickey in 2 stage shows that start at the same times, at the entrance, AND in his house. To heck with the magic. Lame.

Once I was working New Year's Eve and I could see Mickey at the Countdown Parade in the distance while he was standing right next to me onstage. Uber-lame.

OLC indeed.
