How do I get to MK at 7:55am?

My daughter has a Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique appointment at 8:10am and we've been told to arrive 15 minutes early. I don't think Disney transportation runs that early so I'm planning on getting a cab from AKL but does that just take you to the ticket and transportation center? If so would the closest I could get be taking the cab to the Contemporary and then walking to MK? Thanks!

Bus start to run about an hour before the parks opne so you should not have any trouble getting a bus from AKL to MK. But if you do take a cab I am pretty sure the cab will drop you at TTC and then you can take the monrail or the ferry over to the park itself!! Good luck and i sure hope your DD enjoys her appointment at BBB!! :wave:

Hi the buses run at least 1 hour before the parks open. Just be outside with enough time to spare to get to the park from your Hotel and you will be fine. When you get to MK see a cast member by the entrance and let them know you have a reservation and they will let you in. Other wise you will be standing with everyone else and get in the same time as they do. :wave:Have fun, your child will love it! :sohappy:

Park-specific buses start running 60-90 minutes before park opening.

But, there *are* buses that start running earlier than that (7am or earlier, I believe) to get people to early-morning breakfast reservations. They don't run on set routes, they go where people need to be brought. So when you get to the bus stop, look for either a Magic Kingdom bus or one that says "Character Breakfast" and tell them you're going to the MK.

Thanks, how often do they run though? I'm concerned if we have to be there at 7:55am and the park doesn't open until 9, that busses won't start running until 8, so we wouldn't even get there until about 8:15 or 8:20

The character breakfast busses will begin around 7am, if not a little before. I've always been fine when getting to the bus stop by 7:10 or 7:15.

Buses for character breakfasts leave during the 6am hour; breakfast reservations begin at 7am!

We did this once before our breakfast at the castle. I asked at the front desk, they asked when our appointment time was and then told me what time we HAD to be at the bus stop. We took the 'Character bus' to the MK...allow plenty of time as those buses make different stops depending on who is on the bus going where. For example we stopped at a few other resorts, then the Contemporary to drop off for Chef Mickey's b'fast, then MK and then they were hitting other resorts for early breakfasts.

if you're still unsure ... just ask the front desk either the night before or that morning ... if they're not sure, they can find out for you .... have a great time !!!!!!!!
