How do early do the monorails start running?

The hubby and I have the Segway Around the World tour scheduled for our upcoming trip in December. We normally drive to WDW but are flying this year so we won't have our own car to drive over to Epcot for the tour. We are staying in the Contemporary so we can grab a monorail over to Epcot...hopefully. Does anyone know how early they start running from the TTC to Epcot??? I guess worst case scenario we'll end up catching a cab. :shrug:

Which tour time? If you are the in the 8:00am tour you won't make it (I know from experience). I would take a cab to Epcot entrance. If you are in the later tour you have plenty of time to take the monorail.
I think the monorail starts running at 7:30

Oh. Guess it would help if I posted the tour time. I think we're at 8:30. I'll have to double check. I'm certain it's after 8 and before 9. I'm not helping at all, am I??? :drevil:

You won't make it, take a cab. By the way it is a great tour you will have a blast.

Okay. We'll plan on the cab then. Thanks so much! I can't wait. I love gadgets, I love Epcot, and I love having a one-on-one event planned with my DH for a change. I'm totally psyched!

The first Monorail is out on the beam by 07:00 take the Monorail to the TTC then the go to the EPCOT beam and be at EPCOT by 07:30

Okay, how about to GF? We are staying at the Cont. and have 8:00am breakfast ressies with Mary Poppins at 1900 Park Fare--can we make it in time with the monorail????:shrug:

I'm pretty certain that all Disney transportation starts early enough to get you to any Disney event on property.
