How can you afford it?!!!

I just looked over the individual prices on the website and now I am in shock. How can anyone, especially people with children, afford to go? I was looking at the Beach Club for next year because I have been wanting to stay at this resort but there is no way I will pay that much a night. That's just crazy! Sorry Disney, but unless you can lure me in with a great PIN code or some other offer there will be a few less guests at Disney World this year.

One thing I do when we are driving up from South Florida: Publix - a regional supermarket chain - regularly runs a special where you spend $50 on groceries and get a $50 gas card of your choice for only $40. We get one for the ride up and one for the ride back and save 20% on gas (plus it's paid for ahead of time.)

I also use my Chase Disney Visa to buy inventory for my business, and the reward dollars add up pretty quickly - rewards from May through July will pay for our upcoming 2 nights at CBR, and our August points should cover one nice dinner.

Finally: appetizers and desserts are not required. When one or the other sounds particularly good, we'll split one. Sodas are out.
