I have two kids who eat like adults - no kiddie meals around us so we prefer the buffet or the all you care so that if we want to try something different we do not have to worry about wasting our money and then being SOL.

But I have to say that Chef Mickey Parm. Mashed Potatoes can be a meal for me!!

We need time for things to happen.
Semi-adventorous.

I'll try some exoctic animals, snake, gator, bison, etc..

As far as the innards - livers, hearts, brains....not thanks..
Plenty of other delicious pieces and parts on the animal.....
I'll leave the entrails to the crows.

I was hungry before I started typing this...I think I may have just ruined my own appetite.

I am so NOT an adventurous eater! I will give myself a little pat on the back though cause when we went in May we booked Sanaa and I was nervous I wouldn't like anything there but I put my big girl pants on and tried the breads with the mango chutney and red bell pepper hummus as well as the tandoori chicken and LOVED it. I now love hummus and eat it all the time. I've tried some different things like duck, bison (a place near me makes really good bison burgers) sushi and calamari but mostly those were me just trying some of what people I was with had ordered. I would never go somewhere and order something completely new if I was a little unsure of whether or not I would like it.

I am excited for the food and wine festival though cause there are some things I wouldn't normally try but I'm going to try them there since they're smaller portion and I'll be using my snack credits. So if I hate it, eh, it was free with the dining plan anyways! lol

I'm very NOT adventurous when it comes to eating. I'm super picky.

But my fiance is very adventurous - he is the one who picked Sanaa and I ended up loving it! But I'm on a quest to eat at every single restaurant so eventually I'll have to hit up some more adventurous places.

My ADRs are a mix of a few old favorites + some newbies.

I'll eat anything. Not so much adventurous as just the way my Momma raised me... If it's there, try it. You might like it but you'll never know if you don't try.

I have found a few things I didn't like the particular way they were prepared, but I can't think of anything that when I tried it prepared differently it wasn't good. Example: Boiled Brussel Sprouts are horrible, but add a touch of brown sugar to the water and serve them with soft, melty butter... Yum!

Broiled with chopped up bacon - that is another good way to make brussels sprouts.

There is almost nothing I will not try, and not much once I have tried it that I will not eat again.

"plain" zucchini (as in just steamed) is something I am not a fan of - maybe because as a kid we had it day in and day out all summer long because we grew it by what seemed to be the ton.

For some reason, eel does not appeal to me. All the little poinky bones I think.

I have had many many things that I would have again - none of which you are going to find at WDW - fish maw soup, jellyfish salad, sea cucumber, soup #5 (look that one up).

I don't go into a place looking for something new, but if it is something I am not going to get elsewhere, I might as well get it - green sea turtle for example - the Cayman's are one of the few places it is legal - they farm raise them there. Tastes like stringy fishy chicken (almost like gator) - I would not go our of my way for it, but I would eat it again.

In WDW I go with whatever strikes my mood at that moment in time. It may be an old favorite, or it may be something that looks interesting.

Hmm.My late father ate snake when he was a P.O.W. with the Japanese.

Snake is great but I am pretty certain they do not serve it in WDW, in fact I'm sure they don't offer any reptiles like aligators, frogs, and turtle on any of their menus.

Love squid, yet to try it in WDW but apart from the Greek Islands where it's on every menu.We had it in Los .Angeles and it was deep fried in a spicy batter, awesome.

Squid is one of my favorites and I can tell you I have had a lot of Calamari in my day and one of the best I have ever had was at the Turf Club (SSR). They serve it with banana peppers and I have to tell you it just might be the best out there!

I like to try new foods, but I wouldn't classify myself as adventurous. No "exotic" meats and no seafood. I'm fine with beef, chicken, pork, & turkey...any other meats or seafood, I will pass. I enjoy trying things I already like prepared in new & different ways. I suppose all in all though, I'm pretty boring. Give me a big old plate of spaghetti & some garlic bread and I'm happy. ;)

I will be a little adventurous at Disney but not as much as I am if we are on a cruise. I think I feel safer being adventurous on a cruise because I know that if I absolutely hate it I can get something else.........

So Iam just curious when you dine out at WDW,do you stick to what you know on the menu,or do you go on the wild side and order something you've never had before. This year whilst dining at Cali Grill I was about to back out ordering Sushi, something I've never tried, but at the last moment decided to give it a try and ended up loving it.So are you the type of person who sticks to your known favourite or go for something you've never had.:)

ill try something as long as it sounds somewhat normal lol!
