How about a Liberty Square expansion?

That's part of the problem. Twain and Huck Finn, all that is politically incorrect. Same with the old west. I don't even think school libraries have Huck Finn in them any more, people say I'm wrong about that but I have kids and I can tell you all that stuff is gone from schools, TV, toys etc.

Sorry I love Tom Sawyers island but it's time is about gone. The area could use a redo including filling in the river and TSI going bye bye. Lots of land to do something with. You could solve traffic problems, add a new land or just redesign something more PC for the crowd. It would be nice to be able to go past Thunder mountain and keep going in that direction making your way around to HM.

I think many of you are looking at little fixes and I'm think a complete bulldoze of the area. It just doesn't relate to anyone under 40. Sleepy Hallow and maybe an colonial style land? Even that is incorrect to the PC police.

Okay who do I need to pay off to get a "DISLIKE" button on here?

Because brother, your entire post is.....gaaaaah....
Twain and Huck Finn, all that is politically incorrect.

So was the strip club/breastuarant joke in Cars but I've heard no complaints.

As well as the manhood-size joke in Frozen.

Another blatant sex joke in Hocu--hell, that movie's entire punchline was "OMG You're a VIRGIN?"

And the gay jokes all over the place with Ken in Toy Story 3.

But no, keep on telling us how un-PC Mark Twain is and how kids shouldn't be exposed to such filth.

Go talk with someone who has children, you don't. History is being rewritten in schools around the US. Believe me, don't believe but I guarantee you don't have children or anything to do with them so you have no idea what's going on.

Best answer is PC police need to go.

No. I don't have children. I have an actual life, and raising children would get in the way of my current goals. Unless I can somehow magically transform a child into an airplane so that I might visit Scotland and Norway on the cheap, there's no point to me creating them.

But I am a history/social studies teacher, and my philosophy is, and shall always be, "suck it up and deal with it". History isn't pretty, and sometimes you won't like it, but to cover it up and pretend it never even existed so that someone won't feel offended is the most ludicrous "solution" ever proposed.

I love Liberty Square! Probably the most underrated land in all of Disney World. Haunted Mansion is ofcourse a classic, Hall of Presidents is great (PLEASE don't get rid of it), love the Liberty Tree Inn, and Columbia Harbor House is my favourite restaurant in all of WDW.

That's fascinating about that section of shops that wasn't built where the picnic area is now. It would be great to see them build that some day and give the land some more nooks to explore. I also think a Sleepy Hollow attraction would be amazing! On google earth it looks like the current plot of land where the tangled restrooms are has plenty of space for an attraction. It would also serve as a nice segway between Fantasyland with the character dark ride theme and the colonial theme.
