When I read things of this ilk..... I must confess that my wife and I are OLD enough to have received Smallpox inoculations (when very young) as a routine measure. Not sure how good a 50 year old inoculation is

I'll likely get yelled at - GETTING inoculations of this ilk is still possible in the US, though it will require some fairly stern insistence from the Medical Community - as in, telling them you and your family are going abroad to a fairly ugly country. No suggestions, your choice.

When I saw that the "article" was posted from The Washington Examiner, that was enough to know where the article was going and to take it with a grain of salt. Fearmongering from the House is nothing new or unexpected.

I fear the terror of I-4 more than any other.

I know (too) many who have been killed or severely injured in car accidents, and I went to school with a guy who was killed on 9/11. In perspective,horrific, but I would not avoid NYC any more than I would avoid WDW....

I also brave I-4 on a near daily basis.
