Just thought I'd throw in an update... Not sure why it is happening, but I've noticed more options for my upcoming trip dates in early June for both 3 and 5 occupancy rooms in the last week or so.

That is good to know. Maybe the "slim pickins" was due to a rush of people wanting a vacation after the pandemic combined with not everything being open yet.

A lot of the times when it is the Swalphin and there aren’t a lot of rooms far out or they are crazy expensive, it’s because they are usually holding a block of rooms for a convention or group. Once the booking deadline passes, they release the remaining rooms.

It wasn't Swan or Dolphin, it was several other WDW resorts. Unsurprisingly, the choices are back to "slim pickins" again, but it gave me hope that staffing is getting back to normal. Unfortunately, that also indicates and increase in park attendance, and from what I've heard it is crazy out there!
