Will you have your own transportation, or relying on Disney's?

If using Disney transportation, where will you be staying?

I ask because, while lots of resorts are worth checking out, some are easier to get to than others, especially if you don't have a car or cab. So it might make sense to clump resorts together. For example, you could take a bus to the Studios, then walk or boat to the Epcot area resorts and spend some time in all of them as they're all walking distance to each other. Or bus to MK in the morning, walk or monorail to Contemporary, at least take in the 4th floor mural, then from there boat to Fort Wilderness, walk or shuttle to WL, then boat back to Contemporary, use the monorail to explore Poly & GF, then go back to MK's bus stop to travel to AKL.

We are staying at POP. I'm still trying to figure whats the best routes to make sure we hit all the great ideas above. Again, any insight or ideas are welcome.

Oh Sorry, no, we will be using Disney busing or monorails.
No worries, I just think it's the sort of thing that'll help people give you feasible ideas.

Off the top of my head, since wild animals are apparently more alert in the morning (especially if it's a hot day) I'd suggest trying to get reservations for breakfast at Boma. Make them late-ish, so having to take two buses (probably from Pop to AK and then from AK to AKL) won't be too much of a pain. If you get there early, check out the savannah before breakfast, otherwise, go after.

When you've finished there, bus to MK. Depending on your preference, you could loop the monorail resorts and then boat over to Fort Wilderness and/or Wilderness Lodge, or do the Wilderness area first and then the monorail resorts. Maybe plan dinner in one of these MK resorts.

You might be spent by then. If not, go to MK and grab a bus to one of the Epcot resorts, explore there, maybe (if possible) hit one of the Boardwalk night spots. Then bus back to Pop via Downtown Disney....sorry, Disney Springs.

Hello All -

I have a trip planned in roughly 33 Days and finally this trip, I think there will be one day Park-Free and will just be a Hotel Hopping Day.

Besides the Polynesian and Trader Sams, what other hotels are a must see? Any specific thing to see? I've been to PFFQ and Poly, what else is out there??

Thanks in advance!!

Depends on the time of year. Frankly unless it is Christmas time I don't see a lot of point to looking at some of the hotels... though at Christmas time when they do their gingerbread houses I can see reasons to stop in hotels that I otherwise wouldn't waste my time doing.

Real question is what are you looking for... is this just to look around or are you looking for places to eat.

I second the Boma breakfast suggestion!! This looks like a great plan overall.

I'm sure we may grab some drinks throughout but its more to see everything rather than grab dinner. We have early morning rsvps at Kona that morning already...so after that, we are just free to check it all out.

Great plans - this is what we will do! Thanks
