I have to say that I love the Casey's dogs...and while you can't use a snack credit on them...I buy them out of pocket for a snack each trip....

Macaroni and Cheese and Truffle Oil Hot Dog /// Barbecued Pork and Coleslaw Hot Dog

We live in Chicago, so we have fairly particular expectations from our hot dogs. Casey's is ok, but it really isn't good... if that makes sense. We tried the mac-n-cheese dog at HS, and it sounds better on paper. It ended up bland, instead of over-indulgent. But, the BBQ pork/coleslaw dog was actually pretty solid. It's definitely the best dog I've had at WDW, and it's different enough that it doesn't have to be measured against vastly superior options outside of Orlando.

We love Casey's. The pretzel roll at Min and Bill's is outstanding, mainly because of the pretzel.

There's a similar, if not identical offering from Avalunch at Blizzard Beach.
It goes well with a Yuengling and there's a nice, big oak tree behind the shack you can enjoy them under.

I found four places that have hot dogs and three of them can be used as a Quick Service Meal. If there are more, let me know.

casey's corner - MK (out of pocket)
fairfax fare - HS (Quick Service)
sommerfest - EP (Quick Service)
cosmic ray's - MK (Quick Service)

Thanks everyone and have a Magical Weekend!

With the Deluxe DDP why would you be worried about getting a hot dog as a snack? You get 3 full meals per day and they can all be Table Service if you want or they can be used as Counter Service meals. I personally don't know how anyone could eat 3 meals and 2 snacks per day. The Deluxe DDP is enough food to feed a small army each day.

I agree with this. And just to clarify for the OP, when people say that a hotdog counts as a QS meal, that means you will also get a drink and dessert with it if you use a QS credit for it. At Min & Bills, not only do you get the hotdog on a pretzel roll, but you get a bag of chips, a soda, AND a shake for your QS credit. Not bad.

I love hot dogs (but they dont like me much LOL) Casey's slaw dog is really good! I have never had a hot dog at Disney without some sort of topping though, so how they taste by themselves, I couldn't tell you. Aside from Casey's, we really enjoyed the Philly cheesesteak (GO EAGLES) hot dog at the Launching Pad in MK. My husband is a huge fan of the bratwurst in Sommerfest in Germany, (if that counts as a hot dog)

I cant say I have had a hot dog at the world but here in Chicago were VERY picky about our Hot dogs ;)

Whenever I go home I always go to Jewtown (former name) UIC Circle (newer name), Maxwell Street (current name) and get me 5 hot dogs with lots of onions and fries, lol. I think its still less than $3. The best in Chicago.
