I didn't meant to bash teachers. The teachers are good. I just don't like what they are being forced to do and my DD is going to miss out on some major learning at this age. The system stinks.

Are the girls out of school today?

It was alright. Had to pack for the trip, but still got to bed halfway decent. :)

Today is teachers workday. I need to run DD up to school to turn in homework she though she did yesterday.:hammer: yes this is the same DD that is having problems with.:zipit::brick:

So when are ya'll leaving?

Oh, I didn't mean you Susan or anyone here for that matter - just the media in general here. I know how hard Dave and DD work at their jobs, and I'd love to see some of our local politicians (who are forever bashing teachers) to spend a week doing all that they do and have to put up with!

Whoops! :rolleyes: Well at least she'll get it in. :)

We fly out tonight. I'm leaving work early today (prolly around 1:30ish) since I worked late yesterday. That way I don't have to rush and can finish up a couple things before we have to head to the airport. We want to get there fairly early because it could be a little busy today w/ the start of a long weekend, plus alot of people from this area traveling that direction for the big game! I have a feeling we'll have alot of Giants fans on our flight tonight and coming back Monday.

I know teachers put up with alot. Even from us parents.:o

I really laid it into the teacher the other day:o. I felt bad for her, but I didn't back down.:sohappy:
