Hello friends!

is everyone well today? Fishy how's your head?

Hello Kat!
I'm well thanks.

I was glad to read that you're parents are recuperating well.
Did they enjoy their dinner yesterday?

And your Willow Tree Nativity is gorgeous!
My sister and I exchange Willow Trees for bday gifts (not the Nativity though) I love the simplicity of them.
Funny...my sister just gave my mom one for her birthday. Mom couldn't wait to show it to me. She said, "Isn't it so pretty...but she has no face!"

OT We decided not to go to the rodeo this yr because of money. We just cant' get it together this yr. Maybe next yr. We were trying to see Alan Jackson again this time.
Hey Susan. I bet rodeos in Texas are great! Our county has a small one every year. I went my first year here and enjoyed it. We didn't have any big name artist though - well, except for Cowboy Troy from Big and Rich. He lives in our town.

I think Houston has the biggest one in TX. Not sure on that but I know ours is 2nd. Abilene gets the pro bull riding. I want to see that. Corey has been to that and loved it.

They are doing rather well. Dinner was good. DH made chicken parm. He over-cooked the angel hair pasta a little bit (angel hair can be hard to cook...) he felt bad, but it still tasted great! He's such a great son-in-law to them!

Aren't the Willow Tree things great! Dh knows I really like the regular figurines too, so he said, when we saw one in the store, "Why don't you buy it?" I tried to explain that each one is special for certain milestones in your life or as a token of how you feel about someone. They're better received as gifts than just buying one. Exchanging them with your sister seems a wonderful way to collect them!

I gave the Willow Tree "Sisters" to my sisters last Christmas.

Not me
:(
I'm contemplating it... I've worn glasses instead of contact for the last year pretty much because I felt like my last contact prescription just wasn't right. I went to a different opthamologist last week and he gave me a new prescription for contacts, and... I just can't seem to focus on words right... He said I had a small astigmatism and I might need special corrective lenses for it... If I have to go through the trouble and expense of all that, I am starting to think about just jumping in and doing lasik. I'm still a little scared about it though...

It is.
We're both enjoying finding just the right ones.
Now Mom's in on it too. She'll just have to get used to them being faceless. :D

Glasses cant' stand the thought of contacts. I rub my eyes too much. The doc said people that rub their eyes alot tend to get the asigmatisms(sp)
Really...? hmmm... I guess that would make sense. I don't know much about astigmatisms, but I do know it has to do with an abnormal curvature of your eye. I suppose that could be caused by excessive rubbing...
